What I did today!
I had a semi-small list of things I wanted to get taken care of today and I had hoped to get a start early.
But yesterday I was sent a e-mil form this temp agency telling me they were going to call me today at 11:30 ..... yup you guessed it NO CALL. Just how rude are these temp agency people? They act like they have these "jobs you'll be perfect for" hump...... got you jumping through a bajillion hoops basically tap dancing and singing 'PLEASE HIRE ME' all for there amusement! *SIGH*
I digress.
So then it was off the the Habitat for Humanity store to have a look see at what they have BUT they are closed on Mondays and open at noon on Tuesdays so I'll hit them up tomorrow.
I had lunch at La Hacienda with Dre. It was very good. It may be my Cinco de Mayo place to be this year. The margaritas are perfecto.
Finally, I headed to the Marshalls/Home Goods store. After the Sephora debacle in JCP I must say I was feeling some kind of way about the dual store thing BUT Y'ALL I am in love with this place!!!!
I know I am broke and lord knows if I had the money I'd still be broke just with a bunch of beautiful things!!! I was like a kid in a candy store. I was touching everything. I did manage to get a few things.
My girl Monica suggested we ladies pick up RX for Brown Skin and I found a few left! Go Me!!!
If you get a chance I say go to the nearest Home Goods store near you and get your shop on!

All in all today was a great day!!!! I love spending time with my boobie looking at things that might make our home a little brighter. He goes along with me even though I'm sure he'd rather just be home chillin. I love you baby!
Sephora in Northwoods = FAIL!!!!
So I went to the Sephora in the JCP here at the Northwoods Mall. Color me NOT impressed. I just think it is so slack to do a piece of store inside a store. The people were following us around and everywhere I turned there was a associate asking if they could help me. I felt like I was on a car lot and there was only one car and ten sales people looking for a commission. I mean DANG BACK THE HELL UP!!!! If I need your help I will ask. And damn it I did not need a basket so please stop trying to give me one!
ULTA here I come. They at least did a whole store. They know that we spend money here in SC and they went all the way!
Now I have to make it to HOME GOODS in MtPeeezy. See they did one of those half Marshals / half Home Goods stores too. I will be soooooo disappointed if it is as slack as this was!!!
I know there are those of you who LOVE Sephora so I guess when I'm in the city I will stop by a REAL store and see what all they have to offer. OK

It's Saturday
I woke up this morning in a very good mood. Which lately has been kinda iffy. It is a beautiful day out. My honey woke me up with goodbye kisses cause he's got to work this weekend. That was a good way to wake up don't you think. I got my cup-o-coffee, all's right with the world.
It's Saturday y'all. So whacha got planned?
Let's see I'm taking the kids to their Aunties house to visit with the cousins. Then I have to take the oldest to find some black pants for chorus (cha-ching) and a yellow folder (cha-ching) for cheer-leading try-outs. When she gonna stop costing me money?
I'm going to check out the Sephora counter at JCP too. You all know I LOVE my make-up and all things beauty related. Since I really can't afford to buy much I figured why not go and get my face done! Well we'll see ..... I usually go to M.A.C. to get my face beat but they are really out the way. Just too far to drive for that.
