Would You?

If your 16 yr old comes to you asking for Botox injections for her "frown lines" would you let her get it?

If your 16 yr old  comes to you for breast implants would you let her get them?

I'm just wondering why some parents feel the need to do this for their daughters.  At 16 your body is still growing and changing.  Personally I would cuss my child out but then again she wouldn't ask.

Running

July is here and summer is basically half way over. Can you say I am ready for my kids to carry their asses back to school!!!! At least I think I am?!?! I like having them around during the day so they can do all the house work for me but they bicker all the time, I have 3 girls, need I say more.
See when school starts my oldest, who's in high school, is going to want to join every club, cheer squad and committee she can find. RUNNING!!! .... I ran last year all over with just her! Now the middle girl and baby girl are in the gifted and talented program at school the middle one can go to the middle school of the arts. Yay!!! She worked very hard to get there .... BUT .... I will have to drive her to school, which is in a different county about 30/35 min away, and be able to pick her up. RUNNING!!! ... AND I plan to take some college classes this fall myself. RUNNING!!! ...
This is going to be a crazy school year! So how many of you are looking forward to this school year like I am? (rolling my eyes) sigh .....

He Loves You When ....

So ladies I get this question from my single friends and even my teenage daughter has asked it. How do I know when he loves me? I, however, was not to sure what to say to that one. I thought well it depends on what you measure love as, for example, when I'm tired my husband rubs my feet and legs even if they smell like corn chips ;-) NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL LOVE!!! For me it's the little things he does not so much the flowers, candy, and fancy jewelry. It's when I come home from work he's made my favorite meal or has picked up the kids for me. I think you can tell he loves you when he does things for you he would not do for anyone else that's what makes it special.
Also I told my daughter don't confuse love with lust or like those can be some strong emotions too. They have a way of making you think you're in love. Now the question I am posing is what is your definition of love. I think once you have a clear definition of what is special to you (let's not make it about the usual things) then you can say yeah my guy does that for me therefore he must really love me.
