I'm sitting at I-hop and some old white couple are trying to talk the young black waitress in believing Pres. Obama is not a legal citizen. This mess pisses me the hell off! Really I can't eat without hearing this crap. Talking about how he was been before Hawaii was a state. *blink blink*

Ingredients
- 2 6-inch long oval-shaped rolls, such as club rolls or small sub rolls (my sub. is whole grain rolls)
- 2 pounds ground sirloin (my sub. is ground turkey)
- Salt and pepper
- A palmful of cumin
- A palmful of coriander
- About 1/3 cup steak sauce, such as A-1
- 3 to 4 tablespoons grated onion, about 1/2 medium onion
- 4 cloves garlic, grated or minced
- EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
- 1 1/2 cups shredded yellow sharp cheddar cheese
- For the Guacamole:
- 1 ripe Haas avocado, seeded, scooped from peel and mashed
- 1 clove garlic, grated or minced and pasted
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 to 4 tablespoons grated onion
- 1 small jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- Salt, to taste
- For the Pico de Gallo:
- 4 small plum or Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1 small jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
- A generous handful cilantro or flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 1 lime
- Salt
Preparation
Split and toast rolls. Heat broiler or griddle pan over medium-high heat or an outdoor grill.
Mix meat with salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, steak sauce, grated onion and garlic, and mix to combine. Form 4 thick oval-shaped burgers, each about an inch thick and about 6 inches long. Drizzle burgers with EVOO and broil or grill meat 12-15 minutes to cook through to medium. Melt cheese over the burgers during the last few minutes of cook time.
In separate bowls, combine the ingredients for the guacamole and the salsa.

Damn it's early but rise and shine. I awake with a new purpose and that's to get some dang coffee! Hahaha
I'm hungry so a small fruit bowl made of Apples and Oranges will do, for now.
Then my OatBran with some honey and maybe a handful of walnuts. Yum.
I usually have it with peanut butter which is just as yummy.
I am learning how to do different things with it like adding Vanilla, Cinnamon and milk. It's very healthy and high in fiber. I use 1/3 cup of oatbran and twice as much liquid. The only place that it can be found here is at Whole Foods. Thanks xTina for picking it up for me! You should check her out on When Hungry Meets Healthy.
What cha eating?

Wake Up Your Morning Appetite!!!!
Nearly one in five women skips breakfast, according to surveys. Try these tips from Susan Bowerman, RD, a nutritionist at California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, to break your no-nosh habit.
Divide and conquer. Start with something small, like yogurt, and eat a handful of almonds an hour or two later.
Make a fast break. When you're in a rush, grab a piece of string cheese for a dose of protein and some fruit for fiber and vitamins.
Treat yourself. Trade breakfast-prep duties with your partner to make it less of a chore.
Put it off. "If you just can't eat first thing, have an energy bar midmorning for fuel," Bowerman says. "Otherwise, you may overeat at lunch."

I've had to learn to EAT BREAKFAST. It is the most important meal of the day! I eat light because I just can't stomach anything heavy 1st thing in the morning. My morning fav. is Oatmeal or OatBran because you can jazz it up anyway you want to. So it's like eating something different everyday. I get my fiber and fruit! Yum. Give it a try you might like it!
What did you eat this a.m.? Speak on it....
