Tell Me ....
If your S/O came to you and asked you if they could give your old cell phone to a "friend from work". Would you question who the friend was?
If you asked who the friend was and they got all defensive.
You mention that they seem very defensive and that you only asked for a name.
Which you still hadn't gotten yet.
You only asked because you've heard several of his friends being mentioned from work cause he's always talking about something stupid they did.
You figured it was on of them and would have no problem helping them out.
But now he can't quite remember the name of the girl he's going to give YOUR old phone to.
Ah he spits out a name.
Finally.
Never heard that one before but they are a "friend" from work.
Now all of this was going on while you still laying in bed half sleep with crust in your eye.
Do you find the behavior a tad bit odd? Does it make your Spidy Senses go off? Do you question further?

S/O - "Oh it's just a friend from work who dropped THEIR phone and THEY knew I had sprint and THEY asked me if I had another phone I could give THEM. Because having a old phone would be cheaper then buying a new one. SHE asked and I said let me see if my wife will give you her old phone"
You - "Who just randomly asks if you have a extra phone? Who is it? (you did catch he said she)
S/O - "Why does it matter? I gave your cousin a phone" (cousin is male)
No name was given. Hmmm. Your gut is starting to turn.

I'm just wondering why some parents feel the need to do this for their daughters. At 16 your body is still growing and changing. Personally I would cuss my child out but then again she wouldn't ask.
