Cup of Coffee Ramblings
I've been kinda shotty on here lately so let me tell you whats been going on.
I am still unemployed.
Booo
I have been looking on-line for a new mattress because the one I got a year ago is killing mine and my hubby's back.
We're getting old.
Looking at a Foam mattress. From the reviews it looks like the way to go.
My husband, who is awesome, told me weeks ago to "Be Creative".
I didn't know what that meant. I wasn't sure where to begin.
I have since figured it out.
I am excited for the first time in a long time and I think this is going to be really great for the both of us.
I'm doing my research and will be making phone calls next week.
Dre's been to the Dr's lately and this last exam was not good.
Thanks Diabetes *rolling my eyes*
I wish that he never had this mess. I don't know why such a good person was afflicted with this disease.
I LOVE this man sooooo much and I don't know what I'd do without him.
So I'm in crazy wife mode. Healthy food and exercise!!!
My aunt moved here to SC and she just got her own apartment. Her first ever in her whole life by herself.
I am so proud of her.
I'm doing everything I can to make it nice for her. I got her a living room set now I need to get her a kitchen table and of course do the thing I love most .....DECORATE!!!!
I plan on painting for her too. Hey that's my Auntie and I love her!
The middle child has a birthday coming up June 1st and she will be 14 yrs old. Hard to believe all my babies are growing up fast.
I think we are going to see my gran, their great gran, on memorial day weekend. We'll see. She'll be 94 this June 3rd. I'm sure she'd love to see her namesake.
My oldest was given a award for being on Honor Roll and for Honors Choir last week.
I'm so proud of all my girls.

Random Ramblings
It's been a min since I've been on but believe it or not I've been pretty busy. Not working yet but I've been running left and right doing stuff for the kids, hubby and my mom.
Spring break came and went and the kids had a great time. BeBe enjoyed her time in GA and so did I. I took my hubby and the two little ones down for a meet and greet. Let's just say we will be back!
I had to take my dog Ella to the Dr.s yesterday because she had a boo-boo from scratching herself silly. Looks like the groomer may have nicked her and she went to tearing it up. She also has allergies luckily I can give her benadryl but she has these antibiotics she has to take to keep her boo-boo from getting infected. Poor baby. I picked up her heart-worm pill. How the hell am I supposed to get that thing down her throat without her choking.
My neighbors to the left of me are the bestest people EVER! She offered to cut my lawn for less then the guy we paid to do it last yr. YAAAAY ME! She cut the yard last weekend and it looks awesome. She did a much better job then the guy we paid last yr.
I have take to watching the daytime shows. Shoot me people! Other then that, that is about all for now.

Random Ramblings
It's spring and my eyes and nose let me know every chance they get!
I want to go shopping but I know I can't because I am jobless now. This sucks.
I'm getting ready to go to Augusta, GA Friday to see a old friend I haven't seen in 12 yrs.
I'm excited! We spoke on the phone for like 3 hrs yesterday.
I found a Home Goods/Marshals Store in Mt. Pleasant. Yaaay Me!!!
I'm broke. Boooooo!
My mom's coming out for the weekend but I'm going to be out of town. Hahahahah my poor hubby!
The girls are happy ... It's spring break next week!

What I did today.
I looked too cute today. Sorry I didn't take a picture but I may have to put one up. I just look GOOD in a suit. I went to my meet and greet at the Temp. Agency and I think it went very well. I have a feeling I will be getting a call soon. I dropped off my paperwork to the old job. I'm just glad I got a severance package. Some people didn't even get that.
I stopped by Dre's job and we ate lunch together. I love seeing him. His schedule changed so now he's home nights. YAAAY ME!
I took my oldest to go get her permit. She was scared but I told her to just do it. She's smart she'll be fine but she has test anxiety. Thanks to me. Hahahahahaha. So we go in and the DMV Meany stopped us in our tracks.
DMV MEANY
DMV Meany: We need a state ID and proof of residency.
Me: She doesn't have a state ID. How do I show HER proof of residence?
DMV Meany: Well then we'll need her SS card or passport or student ID and birth certificate and her progress report from school.
Me: What?
DMV Meany: We need her SS card/ Passport/ Student ID/ Progress report.
Me: Bria do you have a student ID.
Bria: No ma'am (I'm thinking why the hell don't they give out school ID's)
Me: What do you need for the state ID?

Me: WOW ... lets' go
BRIA=NO PERMIT

OOOOH MMMMM GEEEEE ... I saw some beautiful houses yesterday.
Man I know folks who would be perfect for some of these homes. Too bad we don't really talk like that anymore.
I even think I found a couple I like and well the numbers will tell the tale. I am just in awe at how fast the procedure goes. I just thought it would be all this paper work but everyone says wait until the closing.
I'm overwhelmed!
I am soooo HAPPY!
My feeling of overwhelm-ness was wiped away by having Dre with me. His being there just calmed me down and I enjoy the time we send together.
Because of his work schedule I was meeting the Realtor and getting the ground work done.
I was extremely exhausted.
Did I mention I was SOOOO HAPPY!
I'm so glad he will be back on day shift the end of this month! I miss him!
My hubby has this nack for making friends with people who love to help him or as I call it picking up strays. So the guy at work is trying to move him into another position with higher pay.
Me, I kinda find it weird about it but hey if it gets him in a better position who am I to question it!
My moms been out here for the weekend. She helped the little ones pack up their room .... THANK YOU MOM!
I have to pack the office, my bed room, pack up ALL of my scapbooking stuff and lord I really need to clean out my closet.
My oldest made me my coffee like she does ever weekend for me. I LURVE MY GIRL!
Hubby made breakfast! GO BOOBIE!

Pre-Birthday Ramblings
- I am so good about turning 36.
- I never got with the whole "I'm getting old" thing.
- I think I'm getting better for sure.
- It's supposed to snow for my birthday. It hasn't snowed here on about 8 yrs. Thank you Lord. It was just for me =)
- Hubby is looking for a new job. We are willing to move if the pay is right.
- I really like my semi-new car. It's about 6 months old.
- I am really gassy.
- I've been eating a lot of oat bran. No wonder I so gassy.
- Work has become a chore. They have sucked the fun out of it for me.
- I am in a fashion rut. I've lost 33lbs this past year and nothing I have fits properly.
- I hate winter clothes. I like summer clothes.
- I can wear my dresses and my flip-flops =)
- I've been wearing my hair natural for about 2 yrs and I need to figure out what to do with it.
- I love it natural.
- My dog Ella got her nail stuck in her fur. See I told Dre she needed to be cut.

I was up at 8 am and out by 10 am.
That is just way too early.
My daughter Bria went with me. She was quite the helpful minion.
We bought a table cloth, runner and candles.
I love the way they look on my table.
I am pretty much done with food shopping. Yaaaaah me!
I ate a Wendy's Baconator sandwich ... yes beef .... yes I paid for it later! lolol
It was actually a 'Fall' day today.
Overall it was a great day.

Good day everyone I know it has been a min since I have been on. Sometimes I get sidetracked but now I'm back! Random thoughts today. So this a.m. I am coming to work and desided to take the senic route which has a tree chipper mill on the way. Well this morning they deside they are going to load these wood chips and block both ways to my job! Can you say "PLANNING"! Whoever it was who signed off on that one needs to be repromanded severly ... making me late for work. How dare they! *humph*
Now lets move on to the mindless drama that is Hollywood. Tony Romo dumped poor Jessica right before her B-day and

I am up watching the late night news and painting my fingernails all while typing this in on my blog. Multi-tasking at it's best. Well I have been in a extra cranky mood the last few days care to guess why? Yup PMS! Who came up with PMS and how did it become a "syndrome"? I find it funny how having gas has become irritable bowel syndrome, leg twitches or falls asleep you have restless leg syndrome and your kid has a temper tantrum guess what he/she has ADHD/ADD. I wonder if the drug companies sit around a table, like writers do on a sit-com, and throw out names....hmmmmmm (this is me imagining it goes like this)
Bob......"How about irritable skin syndrome!(naming unexplained rashes)......... Jane......"Yeah I like that! Oh how about epidermititusability (epi-dermi-titus-ability) syndrome EDTAS as the acronym! ......... Sounds silly but probability true .....
I try to do the natural thing first. I don't like taking medicine unless my Dr. makes me. She short, bossy and scares me a little bit. So I'm watching the news and they are talking about the Health Care Reform that President Obama is trying to get passed. As someone who has been insured by the military (active duty & dependant) employer provided insurance (which I pay for), medicaid (state/gov assistance) and not having any at all.... I have an unusual perspective at least I think I do.
When I was active duty I could go to my local TMC (troop medical center) and get treatment for free. It was fast and efficient. It was staffed by medics who were in training and some Dr's who where keeping skills sharp. The question I pose is why can't civilians do that? Staff it with Dr's who need clinic hr's and have med students there learning the basics.... I'm just saying
